Safeguarding

Safeguarding is an umbrella term which covers child protection and health and safety. All staff receive training in both areas.

Safeguarding is paramount at Clopton Nursery Trust. There are robust procedures in place to ensure the safety of the children and staff.

Security is a top priority in our setting and our policies ensure the protection of your child when in our care, is considered at all times by everyone.

We operate a secure, sign in/out entry system. No child is allowed to leave the setting with any person whom staff cannot identify or who is not a nominated contact person with satisfactory ID or passwords. When visitors are present at the nursery, they are signed in and out, whilst being closely supervised for the duration of their stay.

Additionally, no staff, outside contractors or external agencies are permitted to carry their mobile phone or camera when in the nursery.

If you have any questions about safeguarding, please email our manager, Georgia at [email protected]
